February 2007
On Valentine's Day we saw the first Black Kite of the year. Bonelli's Eagle are incubating already at one site.
On the 11th and 12th there was a major passage of Greylag Geese, and the Cranes are moving off northwards.
Great Spotted Cuckoo are much in evidence and there is a good deal of spring song from Corn Bunting, Hoopoe and Cetti's Warblers.
There has been plenty of rain, and the winter has been so mild that it does feel like spring is here.
On 16th the first Lesser Kestrel arrived. A large group of Crane headed north.
